With roots dating back to 1889, Fulk's Tree Farm is a six-generation, family-owned business and a holiday tradition for many Kansas City families.
Visitors can traditionally choose and cut their own Scotch or White Pine trees or select from fresh pre-cut varieties, including Douglas, Fraser and Balsam Firs.
The farm also features the Red Barn gift shop, where visitors can browse fresh wreaths, garlands, ornaments and other seasonal decorations.
Fulk's provides saws for choose-and-cut trees, along with tree-shaking and netting services.
Fulk's Tree Farm will open for the 2026 holiday season on Friday, November 27, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Throughout the season, the farm will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesdays through Fridays from noon to 5 p.m. The farm will be closed on Mondays.
Helpful Tip: The farm has previously advised visitors that staff cannot tie Christmas trees onto vehicles for liability reasons. Be prepared to secure your tree for the trip home.

Bierman's Christmas Tree Farm combines traditional Christmas tree shopping with family-friendly holiday activities.
Visitors can explore choose-and-cut trees, including Scotch, Austrian and White Pines, or browse pre-cut varieties such as Fraser, Balsam and Canaan Firs up to 15 feet.
After selecting your tree, stop by the heated barn to enjoy hot chocolate, shop for holiday gifts, and explore fresh wreaths and garlands. Activities include a Christmas Egg Hunt, a Christmas picture cut-out, and sleigh rides ($2.50 per person; free for children under 3 years old).

Bierman's Christmas Tree Farm has officially announced its operating dates for the 2026 holiday season! The farm will open on Saturday, November 21, 2026, with select dates available through December 6.
9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on all scheduled dates.

Located in Basehor, Kansas, Wilderson Christmas Tree Farm offers a traditional choose-and-cut Christmas tree experience for families looking to start the holiday season outdoors.
The farm has offered several varieties of trees, including Virginia, Scotch, Austrian (5 to 8 feet) and White Pines (5 to 7 feet).
For visitors who prefer pre-cut trees, Wilderson has also carried Fraser and Balsam Firs brought in from Wisconsin, ranging from 6 to 10.5 feet.
Whether you're cutting your own tree or selecting a pre-cut option, Wilderson provides a relaxed, family-friendly setting for celebrating the season.

To make the experience easier, Midland Holiday Pines provides saws for cutting and has offered tree-shaking, netting and vehicle-loading assistance.

Owned by Roy and Carol, the farm was established in 1982 and spans approximately 40 acres.
Visitors have traditionally been able to choose and cut Scotch and White Pines, along with other varieties such as Blue Spruce, Norway Spruce and Canaan Fir.
The farm has also offered pre-cut Fraser, Douglas and Concolor Firs for families who prefer to take home a ready-to-decorate tree.
Christmas Ranch Trees offers more than Christmas trees.
After choosing their tree, visitors can enjoy complimentary hot chocolate, hot cider, coffee and freshly baked cookies inside the barn.
The farm has also featured handmade wreaths, centerpieces, ornaments, door swags and other seasonal decorations.
Saws are provided for choose-and-cut trees, and staff have traditionally assisted with shaking, baling and loading trees.

According to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Christmas trees should be placed at least three feet away from heat sources, including fireplaces, radiators, candles and heating vents.
To keep your Christmas tree fresh and safe:
Look for green needles that don't fall off easily when touched.
Before placing your tree in its stand, cut approximately two inches from the base of the trunk.
Keep the tree stand filled with water and never allow the water level to fall below the base of the trunk.
Inspect lights for damaged wires, loose connections or other signs of wear.
Always turn off Christmas tree lights before leaving home or going to bed.
